This Fraser Valley new custom home had gummy clay soil and poor drainage.
The Bear Claw Land Services crew stripped all of the top soil and clay material from the driveway of this Fraser Valley home.
We took the top soil layer off to save for re-spreading around the home to help vegetation re-grow.
We removed all of the clay soil layer until we hit a layer of rock.
After removing the clay soils, we trucked in crushed pit run material from the local gravel pit to re-build the driveway base.
Once the crushed pit run material was spread and compacted, we topped with a layer of Class 6 road base material.
Finally, we topped the driveway off with a layer of recycled asphalt to give the driveway a final black finish.
